Residency in the Champagne Region on France 2022. Two weeks in a Chateau being fed french food, spending time in this beautiful location and getting to meet the most wonderful people. Most of the artists were from USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand as we all were accepted when the pandemic hit and had to wait 2 years to be able to go. 2021 were all artists from the EU. I made lifelong bonds with more than a few of the artists, and I got to explore some artwork and writing.

Zitrone Residency, Zurich Switzerland
This informal residency was my first residency. The open ended concept of residency was the strong point of this residency. The idea was to come up with an idea or just have space to make work. I created a series of drawings while I read a book about Dadaism while dangling my feet in the Limmat river. Zurich is where the Dada movement was started and what an amazing 2 weeks I had to relax a bit and make work. I held a small exhibition in this space. This was my dream location. The building was eventually going to be torn down, which lead to my documentation of the space called "Zitrone" (check it out in my photo-based section)
